We should all treat ourselves by delving into the world of natural fragrances. Learning how to appreciate an essence is pure magic, stripping away all we thought we knew and leaving us pure as a newborn, as though standing before a universal work of art without any rules.
An essence asks of us only two things: time and practice – the time to listen to ourselves and the practice of smelling the fragrance. In exchange for these small concessions, we can access new awareness.
“As an architect, I have long been committed to improving people’s well-being through their living spaces. Then I realized that first, you need to look after your inner space. I’ve learned that, more than anything else, natural essences can affect our mood and happiness. This is how Aromantique was born, as a fragrant journey taking us back to childhood and helping us rediscover the things that make us feel best. Harmony and happiness are within us, we just need to awaken them.”

Create your own liquid botanical aromatherapy fragrance:
A workshop to ‘build’ your own oil-based, botanical aromatherapy fragrance.
You’ll create your first personalized essence by composing an aroma containing ingredients that stimulate your well-being and equilibrium. This will be the first attempt to search for a “happiness scent” tailored to you.
After learning the basics of fine aromatherapy and its main essences (lavender, rosemary, rose, bay leaf, marjoram, basil, jasmine, orange, lemon, mandarin and petitgrain), as well as the main differences between classical and botanical perfumery, we will endeavor to mix essences to compose our first botanical perfume. This course is preliminary, to be followed by the workshop in which you can also create a solid perfume.
The cost of the course includes all the necessary materials and a perfume bottle that we’ll make together; all you need to bring is a notebook and pen.
Create your own solid botanical aromatherapy fragrance
A ready-to-wear, solid aromatherapy fragrance. Now that you know how to make a liquid perfume, it’s time to try to create a solid one out of beeswax and shea butter.
First we’ll review the basics of fine aromatherapy and its main essences (lavender, rosemary, rose, bay leaf, marjoram, basil, jasmine, orange, lemon, mandarin and petitgrain); then we’ll learn how to mix essential oils specifically for a solid perfume and test out different compositions to find a scent of our own to keep forever.
This course is designed for those who have already taken the course to create a liquid fragrance.
The cost of the course includes all the necessary materials and a box containing the solid aromatherapy fragrance that we’ll make together; all you need to bring is a notebook and pen.
Inside the Via dei Macci 41 laboratory in Florence you can create your own custom aromatherapy fragrance.
